The identification of protein can be performed on several types of samples :
- complex samples such as total protein extracts (tissues, cells, physiological fluids), sub-proteomes or interactomes, (e.g., immunoprecipitation, co-immunoprecipitation or pull-down eluates)
- synthetic or chromatographically purified proteins/peptides
Depending on the complexity and the buffer in which your proteins are solubilized, an adapted sample treatment will be applied (SDS-PAGE separation, desalination, fractionation, etc.)
Step of protein identification
- Sample processing
- Digestion of proteins
- Peptide Desalting
- LC-MS/MS injection
- DATA ANALYSIS
